Richard J. Lolich
MARAD's Office of Shipper and Carrier Outreach is responsible for developing and maintaining close relationships with Marne Transportation System (MTS) users so that federal MTS policies and initiatives accurately reflect the true needs of these users. In this position Mr. Lolich serves as the Executive Director of the Marine Transportation System National Advisory Council (MTSNAC), a federally chartered, non-federal body whose purpose is to advise the Secretary of Transportation on MTS issues. Mr. Lolich is also a member of the Executive Secretariat of the Committee on the Marine Transportation System (CMTS). Mr. Lolich has extensive experience in the maritime industry, having worked for the U.S. Army’s Military Traffic Management Command's Joint Traffic Management Office; Kuehne and Nagel, a global transportation and logistics provider; and Lykes Lines, a U.S.-flag international container operator, where he was Lykes’ Washington Representative for 21 years.
